What follows is a blog, originally posted by @Babe_TV on their Tumblr account on 16th March 2014.\u00a0 Theirs was an incredibly detailed account and charted many of the events of Babestation and other babe channels<\/a> going back a long time.\u00a0 Unfortunately, it can no longer be accessed as the account has been deleted.\u00a0 Luckily we have a number of posts and we will be posting them here and on Babestationcams<\/a> in tribute to the work that was done.<\/p>\n

Whilst there\u2019s no sign of them at the time of writing (March 2014), and hasn\u2019t been for a very long time, bath scenes have not been as uncommon as you might imagine on the terrestrial babe channels.<\/p>\n

\"babe<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Babestation night shows used a bath from late October 2009 when they dumped their traditional, generic beds and for some time went for themed sets across the board. Babestation\u2019s bath was used for Freeview sections with decreasing regularity until April 2010, after which it was used in some Freeview pic promos that summer.\u00a0Bang Babes also began using a bath on their Freeview babe channels from March 2010. The last of the Freeview babeshows to use a bath to date has been Playboy TV Chat, which went to terrestrial screens in December 2011 and brought a number of bath scenes to Channel 194\/99 in 2012.<\/p>\n

The main focus of this post, however, is\u00a0Elite TV\u2019s, (now Studio 66’s) bath set, which appeared on Freeview during the course of the show\u2019s run on Channel 192 between April 2011 and January 2012, but saw particularly intensive use during September and the autumn of 2011. The pic above of Lilly Roma<\/a> in the Elite, (Studio 66) bath. Like all the images, this capture is from a Freeview show. The lack of sales graphics on the screen is a tell tale sign that the pic comes from the beginning of a Channel 192 broadcast. Elite would normally run a minute or two of \u2018clear\u2019 footage after the channel went to air, before introducing the telephone numbers and promos.<\/p>\n

Above:<\/strong> The style of presentation would depend on the model, but in general, Elite\u2019s, (Studio 66’s) bath scenes were more sensual and laid back than those on Babestation or Bang Babes. In total contradiction of that, however, is this pic of Lori Buckby<\/a> in the bath on Elite TV, (now Studio 66). Lori adopted a very different approach from Lilly\u2019s, replacing the elegant eroticism with an explosive and dynamic energy. By this time in September 2011 it was extremely difficult to believe that three years earlier Lori was the innocent face of Channel 46, presenting the programming schedule<\/a> on daytime TV.<\/p>\n

And in the final image (above),\u00a0Charlie O\u2019Neil is captured epitomising the babe channel babe combined with girl next door look. Like all the girls in this post, Charlie had worked on the other babe channels, including Babestation, before moving to Elite, (Studio 66). But whilst Lori\u2019s style was much more \u2018Babestation\u2019, Charlie\u2019s was very much out of the classic Elite TV mould.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
