You\u2019ve probably already heard about the new television series about the Targaryens, produced by George RR Martin and Ryan Condal and starring Paddy Considine and Matt Smith, they are taking us back to Westeros. With a release date now set for August of this year,\u00a0House of the Dragon<\/i>\u00a0is coming<\/a>. Last year, the Game of Thrones prequel dropped the first trailer, and the second trailer has just been released<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Looks pretty epic tbf. Paddy Considine plays King Viserys Targaryen while his evil brother Prince Daemon Targaryen is played by Matt Smith. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen is played by Emma D’Arcy, King Ser Otto Hightower is played by Rhys Ifans while his daughter Lady Alicent Hightower is played by Olivia Cooke. Expect to see loads of violence in the House of the Dragon as well as non binery stars, gender fluid characters<\/a> and dragons\u2026obviously.<\/p>\n

House of the Dragon is set to be released on 21st August 2022 and it will be a 10-episode series that will air on Sky Atlantic, the same channel that aired Game of Thrones. However, if you subscribe to NOW TV you\u2019ll also be able to view it there.<\/p>\n
