Did you guys see the big news coming out of America this week surrounding the brand that started it all, Playboy<\/a>? They will no longer be featuring full nudity in the their magazines or their website, as part of a total redesign\/repackaging, coming in March of next year.<\/p>\n

It could easily be argued the Playboy was the pioneer in men’s\/adult entertainment. What they started leads all the way through to the accessibility of nude cams<\/a> or porn on the internet today and even the services we offer here at Babestation TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the decision they have made is a commercial one – the fact we can all see millions of naked pictures on the internet and watch has much porn as we want has meant a huge decline in the amount of people wanting to see that stuff in a magazine. According to official figures, Playboy Magazine circulation has dropped from from 5.6 million in the 70s to just 800,000 now.<\/p>\n

So as of next March, the site will be “safe for work”, in a bid to drive traffic from social media such as Twitter and Facebook. Their current NSFW content would break regulations on those sites.<\/p>\n

There’s going to be more focus on areas outside of pictures of pretty ladies:\u00a0\u201cTens of millions of readers come to our non-nude website and app every month for, yes, photos of beautiful women, but also for articles and videos from our humor, sex and culture, style, nightlife, entertainment and video game sections,\u201d the magazine says.<\/p>\n

It’s a sad day for some people, including the prominent ex-star Jenny McCarthy<\/a>, who said, “It breaks my heart that it’s the end of an era and in solidarity, I will be wearing my panties at half-mast.”<\/p>\n

In a world where even the legendary Playboy magazine is having to cover up it’s nude models<\/a> and performers and expand into other areas, doesn’t it give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside that there are still sites out there like ours, over at Babestation.TV, that feature fully-fledged nudity and hardcore content?<\/p>\n
