She can now listen to her body and work on the days she chooses, which has significantly reduced stress and allowed her to build a financial safety net for periods when she is unwell. During a recent flare-up, she was able to take five months off while maintaining financial stability, an impossibility in her old fixed-salary job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Confidence and Support<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the practical benefits, the move has profoundly boosted Brooksie&#8217;s self-esteem.
