Former hospital worker Brooksie Brooks has revealed how she made a life-changing career shift from gruelling 12-hour receptionist shifts to becoming a successful TV ‘babe’ on Babestation. Her decision was driven by the necessity of managing her health after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 21.

The flexibility of the new role allowed her to overcome the challenges posed by her chronic condition, which can cause extreme fatigue and unpredictable flare-ups. In her previous employment, the lack of flexibility and subsequent wage deductions due to sick time led her to a breaking point.

The Power of Control

“Walking into that studio for the first time was the moment my life changed, for the first time in years, I felt like I was in control again,” Brooksie explained.

The ability to manage her own time and work schedule became the critical factor enabling her to navigate life with MS. She can now listen to her body and work on the days she chooses, which has significantly reduced stress and allowed her to build a financial safety net for periods when she is unwell. During a recent flare-up, she was able to take five months off while maintaining financial stability, an impossibility in her old fixed-salary job.

Confidence and Support

Beyond the practical benefits, the move has profoundly boosted Brooksie’s self-esteem. She has found the Babestation environment to be highly supportive, offering resources from photo shoots to talent management.

“I also feel powerful, sexy and confident, like the woman I was always meant to be,” she shared.

While her family was initially hesitant about the career change, they have since become fully supportive after witnessing the transformative improvement in her health and well-being. Brooksie’s story is a powerful testament to finding success, confidence, and vital flexibility in an alternative career path.
