Does anyone remember Sumo TV?? Sumo was a TV and early video tube site run by us in the mid to late noughties, before YouTube completely took over the VOD market. Incidentally it was the first project this writer worked on! That was my first exposure to Alex Sim-Wise, who presented a late night show on the channel with her co-host (Prolapse...). It was all about user-generated clips and sketches the presenters would shoot at home and was inspired by 90s shows like The Word and The Adam and Joe Show. But Alex has had a storied career both before and after that time, from making it as a blogger in the MySpace days - and even working for a time at MySpace as a celebrity interviewer - to modelling for FHM and presenting for G4, MTV and BBC Three. In 2021, she filmed a documentary for Channel 4 called 'How To Make It On OnlyFans'. Alex Sim-Wise tells all about her career in this episode of the Option 1 Podcast!
