Option 1 Podcast - S05E03 - Melissa Todd

In this episode, Rhian and Oliver are joined by Melissa Todd, also known as her formidable alter ego, Miss Matthews. Melissa opens up about her journey through the adult industry, from her early days as a stripper to more than 20 years working as a professional dominatrix. With plenty of humour and refreshing honesty, she offers a glimpse into her working life, sharing unusual client requests involving cheese and foot worship, the realities of running adult school sessions, and the legal grey areas surrounding BDSM in the UK. They also explore Melissa’s fascinating background, from her high Mensa IQ score and brief stint at Oxford to her appearance on Nobody’s Fool and her latest move into stand-up comedy. Plus, the hosts get more than they bargained for when Melissa brings out her favourite spanking implements for a hands-on demonstration in the studio.
