Ever since the Editor of High Society magazine, Gloria Leonard, had the idea of recording her own voice to promote forthcoming issues, Phone Sex has snowballed into one of the biggest industries of its time. We spoke to ‘Debbie’ who has been doing Live Phone Sex on and off for the past 15 years or so. We wondered what made her get into the business and also why?
“I actually started doing Live 121 from home to earn some extra cash. I already had a full time job and was looking around for something part-time, when a friend recommended I apply to this company she knew.
To be honest, I’d be working ‘on the lines’ a few weeks before I knew anything about Babestation. It was only when this guy came on the line and asked me if I was one of the girls on the TV, that I realised. “It seems strange now that I started in a job which I had relatively little experience of but I do recall doing lots and lots of reading.
